IPADE Implements CISCO Technology to Support Remote Learning

As part of its efforts to implement innovative remote learning models, IPADE Business School and Cisco Mexico, a global leader in communications technology, worked together to roll out a unique online learning experience for IPADE participants and alumni through the use of Cisco Webex solutions at the three main IPADE campuses.

IPADE is committed to working towards a digital transformation that strengthens both our in-person and online sessions, giving rise to a hybrid education model that takes advantage of robust and secure collaboration tools and platforms.

As part of this transformation, Cisco Mexico deployed solutions from its Webex Collaboration portfolio—including Cisco Webex Board, Cisco Webex Desk Pro, and Cisco Webex Room Kit Mini, as well as all the functions of the Cisco Webex collaborative platform—at IPADE’s Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey campuses. These new tools will benefit the more than 42,000 IPADE participants and alumni. During the ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly equipped classrooms, Rafael Gómez Nava (Dean of IPADE Business School) said:

“These types of tools will allow us to stay connected with the IPADE business community despite the quarantine”. “At IPADE, we’re optimistic about the future, and we believe that companies have a crucial role to play in Mexico’s economic recovery in 2021. The business world must step up to give its all to Mexico.”

Isidro Quintana (CEO of Cisco Mexico) added:

“With the deployment of our Cisco Webex devices and solutions, IPADE has strengthened its hybrid education model, giving prospective participants, no matter where they are, the opportunity to join IPADE’s academic programs.”
